Pink diamonds are not only rare treasures that women dream of, but also frequent visitors at auctions. The auction records of pink diamonds have been constantly refreshed. Pink Star

On November 13, 2013, the world-renowned top-quality diamond "Pink Star" made its final appearance at the Sotheby's auction house, attracting many jewelry collectors to bid frantically. It was finally sold at a sky-high price of US$83 million (about RMB 518 million), which also created the highest auction record for similar diamonds in history.

According to reports, the "Pink Star" is extremely gorgeous, with a carefully cut multi-sided oval set in a platinum ring setting. The extraordinary weight of 59.60 carats and the highest level of internally flawless (IF) clarity make it unashamedly ranked as the largest internally flawless vivid pink diamond in history as assessed by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The bright and dazzling brilliance of the diamond is breathtakingly beautiful. When it debuted in New York, USA on November 1, it instantly killed many world-famous diamonds, attracting the crazy pursuit of many collectors and wealthy people. The estimated value is also over 60 million US dollars.

Diamond ring of Princess Mathilde, niece of Napoleon

On May 12, 2015, the diamond ring of Princess Mathilde, niece of Napoleon, was sold at a sky-high price at the Sotheby's auction house in Geneva. This diamond ring with a so-called "historic pink diamond" was successfully auctioned at a sky-high price of 15.9 million US dollars.

It is reported that the diamond has been kept in the bank's warehouse since the 1940s and has been dusty for more than 70 years. The pink diamond on the diamond ring weighs 8.72 carats. The auctioneer on the day said, "This is a beautiful and noble gem auction."

Laurence Graff Pink Diamond Ring

On November 16, 2011, the famous auction house Sotheby's auctioned a rare pink diamond in Geneva, Switzerland. The pink diamond weighed 24.78 carats. London jeweler Laurence Graff finally sold it at a sky-high price of 29 million pounds (about 305 million yuan), setting a new record for the global jewelry auction price.

The auction house's authoritative department rated the grade of this pink diamond as 2A, indicating that this diamond is very rare. The diamond has a purity of VVS2 and is a very slightly flawed diamond. It is difficult for experienced professionals to find flaws even with a high-power magnifying glass.
